For me the most familiar place for sports is not the well-known Bird's Nest / National Stadium ( 鸟巢） , the Water Cube / National Aquatics Center  （ 水立方） or the various high-class stadiums, but our school's sports field.

It is located in the northeast corner of our campus and occupies a large area of the campus. Although it is only a school sports field, it covers a variety of sports  venues such as basketball courts, tennis courts, and soccer fields for students to engage in various sports（参与多项体育活动）. Tens of thousands of people can be accommodated in the stands （ 看台可容纳上万人） surrounded by a brand new 800-meter track and a vast green field. For me, the school sports field is a  place to relax and unwind （休闲放松） after a tiring day of studying.

My favorite thing is to run on the athletic field in the evening after class, where I would run around the runway for a few laps. In the darkness of the night, I am immersed in the world of music with headphones and run forward step by step with the dynamic beat, which is the freest time of the day for me.

Sometimes, after the run, I would lie on the grass to stare at the night sky and let  my thoughts run wild（放飞思绪）. Like me, there are many students who play sports there every day, and the sports field has added color to our school life. I always feel full of youthful energy there.
